The RSS DropDown is a live toolstrip item that changes its title, tooltip, image and sub-menu items according to the internet news feed it is pointing to.

When activated it loads the news feed asynchronously from the internet (or file), without blocking your software or slowing down the user's experience.

The news feed consists of a simple, structured XML file sitting on your website, that may be easily edited using a news feed editor such as Haumohio FeedWrite.

Once the RSS DropDown has been added to your form, simply fill in the URL property to make the component live!
